The women’s suffrage movement was decades in the making and came with many harsh setbacks which eventually resulted in a permanent victory: women’s right to vote. A century after the ratification of the 19th amendment, authors Lucinda Robb and Rebecca Boggs Roberts tell the stories of the activism and the play-by-play that brought about the enormous changes that continue to impact us today.
